Q. what are the ways to eradicate corruption from our surrounding areas for a common citizen? plzz. tell me thank u for your answers Asked by ronaldo - Sun Aug 12 02:49:15 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. I do not know an simple answer for that, as the previous person stated "as long as there is more than one person there is probably going to be corruption." The world could probably be better place if people would look at themselves and why they do the bad things they do and work to change them. If you don't want whats good for the next person what you want for yourself and more and more people have the attitude that every man for himself, then yes there is another reason that corruption exists. Arrogance at an all time high! As long as we live in this world, there is going to be corruption, because unfortuneately everybody don't believe that there is any thing wrong with them or even care for that matter. Answered by PEACE - Sun Aug 12 03:08:33 2007 How much corruption do you think there really is in Michigan Politics? Q. Detroit had Two corrupted Mayors before they finally got the Mayor they have now. Michigan has had two Governors who are either extremely incompetent or, clever enough to cover up their form of corruption with an act of incontinence. I heard Grand Rapids has a semi corrupted city council as well. How corruption is there in Michigan politics that the general public has no idea about? That is two governors in the past 12 years. Colman Young was corrupt but, he wasn't as nearly corrupted as Kwame Kilpatrick was. Asked by ARTY - Sun Jun 13 15:00:34 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. How much by measure, I don't know, but we all know that Michigan was in recession before the rest of the country due to your incompetent governor whom drove the state into ruin, but then started ad campaigns to attract specifically "green" technology and companies. I would'nt be surprised if it were all planned due to hack politicians falling for that green jobs BS and global warming hoax. Government does many corrupt things to get thier way. In California we often have to deal with cycles of politicians over-spending the budget but then whining that they need more money. And they usually get it due to left wing moron's falling for the same trick cycle after cycle. The government threatens libraries, schools, police protection and fire,… [cont.] Answered by Nightwind - Sun Jun 13 15:07:53 2010 Corruption - Does a falling tree make a sound in the forest if no one is around?
Q. The media provides coverage of corruption in some form or fashion on a daily if not weekly basis, right? Politicians doing wrong in this, that or the other while receiving special treatment due to their high profile "status." Special treatment defined as not being subjected to the same punishments as citizens of the U.S. The media simply reports the story for Americans. Can you imagine how high the levels of corruption must be behind closed curtains that never make it to the public eye? Thoughts? Should we be thankful for the "leaks" within any agency or entity? Does this finally lay the question to rest? A tree falling does make a sound even if no one is around because of the aftermath that has occured? Asked by Glen B - Mon Sep 3 18:09:07 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. As to the tree, I must respectfully disagree with your stated position. I believe Cosmos is right. The tree falling created sound waves, but without a proper decoder (an ear) the waves cannot become sound. The aftermath is a result of forces such as gravity and impact but not sound. But alas, the tree and sound are really irrelevant aren't they? To the real question at hand and a good one at that... The levels of such corruption often lead right to the top. Perpetrated mostly I think by arrogant self righteous jerks that believe either the ends justify the means, or that they are somehow simply taking what is due to them. In the case of Richard Nixon he demonstrated a little of both.
